On the theme “Go Green, Live Green,” the Environmental Day programme at Shubada Centre brought together community members, SHG participants, and school children for an inspiring celebration. Students from the Government Higher Primary School, Suralpady, set the tone with a prayerful hymn, and guests were welcomed with the offering of saplings—affirming the day’s environmental message. Sr Flavia Wilma, Secretary of the Shubhada Society, delivered a heartfelt message encouraging all to see the Earth as a divine gift and act as responsible caretakers through small but meaningful actions. Guests of honour joined in the symbolic watering and planting of saplings, reinforcing their commitment to a greener future. The programme concluded with snacks and joyful camaraderie, gracefully coordinated by Sr Aruna, Coordinator of the Shubhada Trust.

Excellent! Keep it up dear Sr. Aruna.
