Jeevandhara celebrated 79 Independence day in Jyothi Nagar

Jeevandhara Social Service Trust celebrated 79th Independence day on 15th 2025, in Jyothi Nagar Kavoor with Anganwadi  Children, Teacher Rekha, Anganwadi helper and youth. Also with People of Jyothi Nagar on August 15th morning at 9.30 am at Jyothi Nagar.


Firstly, Flag hoisting  by Anganwadi helper named Philomena along With National Anthem  Jana Gana Mana. Speech by Mallanna Dhawalantharaya who is Employee of MESCOM. Program conducted by Basavaraj Jyothinagar.  Programme started by honouring Anganwadi helper Philomena for her service towards Anganwadi school.


After that speech about 79th Independence day addressed to youth and people by Sr Ilene. Are we independent? We should inspire young people to believe in their potential, embrace challenges as opportunities, and work towards building a better future. It should highlight the importance of education, perseverance, and positive action. Key themes include understanding one’s purpose, developing strong character, and contributing to society. 


Then Awareness programme on Human trafficking  by Sr Ilene  to the children and youths & people of Jyothi Nagar.  Trafficking of children, also known as child trafficking, is a form of human trafficking recruitment, transportation, harbouring, or receipt of a child” for the purpose of slavery, forced labour, and exploitation. Children may also be trafficked for illegal adoption. Children worldwide are being victimized in sex trafficking and child labour.


Human trafficking defines as: the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation.
After words games conducted by Sr Ilene along with MSW students from St Aloysious College and staff of Jeevandhara for Anganwadi children  and youth of Jyothi Nagar. At the end prize distribution for Anganwadi children and youth of Jyothi Nagar. Programme ended at 10.30 by Thanks giving by Mallanna Dhawalantharaya.
