Strengthening Safety, Celebrating Childhood

Awareness Programme at Infant Mary’s Hostel

On 15 November 2025, an awareness programme on Human Trafficking was held at Infant Mary’s Hostel, Kulshekar, organized by Jeevandhara Social Service Trust in collaboration with the Jesuit Scholastics. A total of 53 students participated, along with four Jesuit brothers and staff members from the Trust.

The programme began with a series of engaging and entertaining games conducted by the Jesuit brothers, creating an atmosphere of joy and openness among the children. This was followed by an informative session by Sr Flavia Wilma, who spoke about the pros and cons of human trafficking, the dangers children must be aware of, and the precautionary measures they should keep in mind to stay safe. Her talk helped the children understand the seriousness of the issue in a simple and relatable way.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the game winners. Additionally, every child received a notebook and a pen as a reminder to stay focused on their studies and personal growth. It was truly a joy to be part of this enriching experience with the children.
