The Christmas Saohardakoota was joyfully celebrated at the Sacred Heart’s English Medium Primary School Hall on 22.12.2025, organized by Jeevandhara Social Service Trust, Kulshekar, in an atmosphere filled with warmth, gratitude, and festive cheer. The gathering became a beautiful expression of unity and sharing, bringing together women, staff, students, and Self-Help Group members to experience the true spirit of Christmas.
Sr Lilly Pereira, President of Jeevandhara Social Service Trust, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with three representatives from the Self-Help Groups, whose presence added strength and encouragement to the celebration.
The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a graceful prayer dance by the staff, setting a reflective and prayerful tone. This was followed by a lively welcome dance by the tailoring students, radiating enthusiasm and joy. Mrs Sujatha extended a heartfelt welcome to all, while the programme was smoothly and cheerfully compered by Mrs Veena.
Members from Shanthi and Sadhana SHG presented meaningful and creative Christmas performances, sharing joy, hope, and the message of love that Christmas brings. Fun-filled games added excitement to the gathering, and prizes were distributed, creating moments of laughter and bonding.
In her inspiring Christmas message, Sr Lilly Pereira encouraged the women to become beacons in their families and communities, living lives rooted in respect, compassion, and mutual support. Her words touched many hearts and offered renewed strength and motivation.
A special highlight of the celebration was the thought-provoking tableau on the theme “Light”, presented by the students of Infant Mary’s Hostel, which deeply moved the audience and beautifully conveyed the essence of Christmas.
Mrs Maria Vas proposed the vote of thanks, sincerely acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of the programme. The celebration concluded with a joyful Santa Claus entry, followed by the sharing of delicious food, leaving everyone with happy hearts and cherished memories of a truly meaningful Christmas celebration.
