As part of the observance of World Day Against Human Trafficking, an awareness programme on Anti-Human Trafficking was organised at Holy Family Kannada Medium High School, Bajpe on 27th July 2026 . The programme aimed to educate students about the dangers of human trafficking, cyber crime, safe mobile phone usage, and the importance of protecting themselves from exploitation.
The programme was conducted by Jeevandhara Social Service Trust. Sri Ashok, Police Sub-Inspector of Bajpe Police Station, served as the resource person. In his informative session, he explained the growing threats of cybercrime, responsible mobile phone usage, online safety, and various forms of human trafficking. He encouraged students to remain alert, avoid sharing personal information with strangers, and immediately report any suspicious activities to parents, teachers, or the police.
Sri Bharamar, Police Constable of Bajpe Police Station, was also present and motivated the students to become responsible and vigilant citizens. The programme was presided over by Sr. Jessy Preema, Principal of Holy Family Kannada Medium High School, Bajpe. Total 250 students were participated along with 12 teachers.
The programme was coordinated by Sr. Wilma Mathew, Coordinator of Jeevandhara Social Service Trust, who organised and conducted the awareness session successfully. She highlighted the importance of creating awareness on human trafficking among children.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource persons, the school management, teachers, and students for their active participation. The awareness programme was highly informative and beneficial, inspiring students to stay safe, responsible, and vigilant against human trafficking and cybercrime.
